National League: The 2025 Season

       LA Dodgers hit the gas early (began season 8-0) and didn't stop until they became the first back-to-back Series champions since the late 1990s (NY Yankees). Milwaukee Brewers, NL leaders in Batting and pitching, put their 25-28 start behind them on the way to the NLCS. On the other hand, Juan Soto's massive contract wasn't enough to pull the Mets into playoff territory, and Colorado almost broke the ML record for losses in a season. 

       No surprises here: Kyle Schwarber led the league in HRs and RBIs, and Shohei Ohtani continued his trademark magic: 1st in EBH and Slugging and 2nd in HRs (6th ML player to hit 50+ HRs back-to-back) - enough to secure the 2025 MVP. And Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes (ERA 1.97) won the Cy Young
